Does anyone know of a good MegaDrive/Genesis emulator that supports LAN play?

I seem to remember that Genecyst does but its not working for me in Win2K.

Cheers!

Nah, Huddersfield rules unless you happen to be in the bus station in the middle of a riot...

Halifax has too many pigeons!:D

Soz i didn't see that board when deciding where to post.

I’ve found that Gens has Kallirea (or whatever its called) with it, but I cant get it working. Were using a LAN over a phone line (free internal calls in student accommodation :D ).

Anywayz, we beat Plymouth on Tuesday so I’m happy & Hudders rules!

Well, you have a couple of options.

First off, iirc, Genecyst is DOS only. Win2k really doesn't have DOS, thus it doesn't work.

If you really want to stick with Genecyst (and I wouldn't; I have moved away from both it and Nesticle completely), you could download VDMSound (at: http://ntvdm.cjb.net/compat/), which emulates DOS and would allow you to run Genecyst.

The other option is to find another emulator. Myself, I use WGens, although I haven't gone hunting for any official website for it lately.
