1x Athlon XP 2100+ in retail box, with standard fan & heatsink - $115
2x 256MB PC3200 400MHz 32X64 184Pin Unbuffered CAS 2.5 Brand: Corsair Value Select - $60 ea
1x ATi All-In-Wonder 9700 Pro 128MB - $413
1x 48x24x48 Lite-On CD-RW drive - $54
1x 3Com 3C2976 56K PCI (non-winmodem) - $46
1x Arctic Silver 3 (3 grams) thermal compound - $10
1x UPS 3-Day Select shipping - $16.25
Total: $964.25

I'm going to wait on purchasing until I know if the XP 2100+ will do a 200/400 MHz bus safely. If not, I can save $36 by going with PC2700 RAM.
Another question: is it worth going for a TBred-B 2200+? I don't particularly want to mod my chip, but I don't want to damage by jumping the bus to 166MHz, either. The A7N8X can change the multiplier on an unmodified TBred-B chip, but not a Palomino or TBred-A. I really don't want to spend the extra $50 on a CPU, I'd rather get a Voodoo 5 5500. And I'd rather not void the warranty. If I unlock it with conductive paint I could probably remove the paint should I ever need to RMA the chip, but still...

I might not use the Aureal card. The nForce-2 is supposed to have a good onboard sound chip. I'll have to see for myself.

OS will still be a combo of XP Pro, 98SE, and Gentoo Linux.
