Thanks for asking, I will try to explain how it works, at least the little I know about it.

First off, it's using a very complex system that I have tried understanding, and...it's complex. You can't add new patterns and templates to the bot without re-loading the bot :) I tried making a hack that would allow mods to add new information through the Mod CP, but it simply does not work without re-loading the bot.

It can remember some stuff, it seems, like gossip but I don't know what triggers it to remember it. It logs all conversations though.

If we want to learn it, we need to create new AIML files and load the into the bot.
