Its being messed up when u have both.

[17:59] <[OGF]Red> 3Connection: WAN (PPP/SLIP) Interface @ 0.3 Mbps (Rec: 51.20MB Sent: 3.10MB)
[17:59] <[OGF]Red> 3Current Downstream: 29.14kb/s
[17:59] <[OGF]Red> 3Current Upstream: 0.47kb/s

Here i only have my normal internet connection.

But when the network connection is turned on.

[20:01] <[OGF]Red> Current Upstream: 501.61kb/s
[20:01] <[OGF]Red> Current Downstream: 20.59kb/s
[20:01] <[OGF]Red> Connection: NDIS 5.0 driver @ 10.0 Mbps (Rec: 17.17MB Sent: 302.52MB)WAN (PPP/SLIP) Interface @ 0.3 Mbps (Rec: 203.93MB Sent: 21.79MB)

The connection is now the network, and same for the u/l.

Or is it me that is doing something wrong ?

The connection thing looks like its showing both network and regular. There is no way to detect which is which atm :P The down/up stream are getting it from the first detected interface. Until i figure out a way to detect which is the network and which isnt, I have no solution currently.
