ok, i just wanted to know how i could speed up pj64, this is an excellent emulator.

everything on my computer is fine, except for my video card

here are my specs:
processor - pentium 3 800mhz
ram - 256ram
video card - s3 prosavage
OS - windows 2000 professional
plug-ins - jabo's d3d6 1.5
azimer's audio 0.13b
jabo's direct input

some games run full speed, (60 fps) that is, super mario 64, quest 64, paper mario, etc... bu other games run horribly, (15 - 20 fps) i.e zelda oot, banjo kazooie, mario kart, etc. Is there any way i can boost the fps? and i know i should download new video drivers but im having a tough time finding some for my video card, please help! any suggestions appriciated! this emulator rocks!!

lol, I have never heard of the AGP card before:p. Prehaps if you are really into 64 emulation, you might decide to buy a new graphics card...such as a Geforce 4 MX for example if you are on a low budget.:)

Yes - you have an old video card, 8 Mb if i'm correct. Thats a LITTLE low :]
Try 1964 as it is said to be faster than PJ64.
Lachp: you dont have to quote the whole post when your the first one replaying - we know who are u talking to ;]

Or a faster, better-featured Radeon 9000...

i think it is right in saying that pj deos really require a quit decent card 32mb or above is probably a good bet
now i think about it maybe a 16 might do...
then again...<_<

IF you're on a budget, get the GF4 Ti4200 TD64, much better....just like a few bucks more...
