what are the best settting for P64 to be fully playable?

i been playing some games on some run perfectly while others mainly.

starfox..runs slow
papermario...runs slow some times
crusin usa.. runs good at first thenslowdown
goldeneye real slow.

is there anyway i can tweak the emu to make those games play better?? if it helps here are ny system specs.

1200 mhz duron
384 ddr pc 2100
geforce 2 mx 400 with 30.82 drivers
win xp

any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!:D

It really depends on the game, but most are compatible with the defult settings. For the more popular games, check the Project64 FAQ:)
