Just been over to Consollection , and found that a new version of Satourne is out v01102002, this version appears to support Dynamic Recompile for Commercial games, this is FANTASTIC news, meaning that Saturn Games will now run far faster on your machine, 40-60 FPS!!!
saw it over at http://www.ngemu.com/

You might need to select the correct country version in the controller configuration dialog..

Well, i loaded the saturn bios, hit run, and i got this error:
(all i want to do is see the bios once again since i have no saturn games. I just love that spaceship that flew around to your audio CDs, my mom would always use my saturn for cds specifically for that. :D)

Wait a few months for a faster version or buy a saturn.:D

Well, i loaded the saturn bios, hit run, and i got this error:
Thats weird and your using the latest version of satourne, it could be that you have the master sh2 frequency to low.

Yep, latest version & english translation. Even with the master SH2 processor at 28mhz it still won't work. :(

I'm still being haunted by this video bug.
Anyone experiencing this "ghosting window" thing too?
And yeah man, don't throw the "upgrade your system" quote at me, because I can practically hack NASA with this sucker...I'm like Hugh Jackman in the "Swordfish" man. My l33t a$$ ownz j00. I'm like the illegitimate child of the Lawnmower-man cross-bred with TRON except I'm not wearing that girly neon stackhat.
(Hee hee I love the other forums with their geek "PC pissing contests", amuses the hell out of me. Glad to see it isn't apparent here.)
But seriously- I have got a decent machine, I'd be suprised if it didn't cut the mustard regarding this.
Any thoughts?

My care factor? Slight, because I have an emulator which fails to emulate it's games.
My original point was two-fold (the number located after one and positioned directly before three)...Is anyone else experiencing it AND are these problems interlinked.
Also, to raise awareness of the quirk in the program, which until now has gone rather unmentioned.
Remember velocity boy, I'm here -like everyone else- for answers and (hopefully) to help, so save the emoticon for the next poor sap and ease up on the attitude.

i suggest u to stop taking yourself too seriously, buddy. aside from that:
i have seen this problem occuring with many other memory-hogging applications (which satourne undoubtely is) so its probably no big deal. my question is: can u emulate ANY games at all or does it fail to emulate CERTAIN games? if its the 2nd case i wouldnt feel suprised about it, not only because of the early stage of development but second because of the new implemented dynarec compiler. for example daytona usa is running while sega rally fails to start even (for me).

"i suggest u to stop taking yourself too seriously, buddy"
You've got a valid point there, my rageaholics meeting was cancelled that day. Sorry eh.
And yeah, I got no games working- but I've since come to the conclusion that it's related to country code and not the video thing. cheers for the understanding.

then wtf are you talking about?
if cooliscoo=jeremy, then you'd know the programmers are french and all error output is in french. only the GUI can be translated, not the errors

cpumaster: good point. Satourne uses OpenGL and most wrappers only convert 3dfx->DX, although there are a few 3dfx->OpenGL ones available but i wouldnt even waste my time trying them

ok, here is a strange problem i have encountered: when trying to choose an iso image in satourne the program locks up where the "choose file" dialog is supposed to come up.
anyone else may be experiencing this? :(
