Fixes:
- Corrected bug in the 3D
- Corrected a bug in the menu
- Added the function Open and Execute
- Improved the speed of execution (of 2 fps)
- Reduced the key rom

In the source:
- Corrected of the bug that did not allow to make to execute the emulatore

Also as you would have noticed, he has changed the version to 0.4.0 instead of continuing to 0.3.8 to avoid confusion it seems and also he said his final release will be 0.5.0 so we may be looking at possibly 10 or more releases from him.

Here's the links, but they went to sleep when I tried downloading them, so see how everbody else fairs with them

Hmm...what would be the differences between GBA save ram and NDS save?? Could you possibly look at one to have an idea of the other or is it like having two opposites put alongside each other?

Gba saving is simple as it just any writes to the address 0xA000000 but Nds saving is far more complicated as its done though one register as in one single byte which theres not much documentation on

Normmatt,

Do you think you will have success emulating NDS saving?

Its not weather I'm able to implement it or not its that emulating it would open the emulation scene to lots of warezers wanting to play popular nds games which i thinkk they should buy. saving will eventually emulated but only when the nds goes out of fashion a little as its a good handheld and people should actually buy it instead of emulating it

Heck, I'd just be happy if I can use my backed-up Action Replay ds saves on my pc to try different things with my games via an emu :D

Sending saves back and forth to the ds cartridge takes forever with the AR :p

Well I am getting Mario & Luigi - Partners in Time on Friday, cos I played the GBA version on PC and I like it, which is what emulation should be used for, as a preview to give you and idea and convince you to buy the games ;)

you stick to that Normmatt :flowers:

Indeed, make a sense to me. We should do that until it is out of fashion a little as it goes. :);)

Cheers,

tx 4 this release, now the position of the screen are correct (in the game "golden casino")
But the bug of the color are not fix

If y play with a PC ith maximum color (like 32 bit), the color of the emulator roms are without the red one.
But when y click on one menu, for example the in Emulation menu, y will see that the color are all right (but y can't play, 'cose the focus are in the menu palet).

The trix are to go in "File -> InfoRoms", take the windows of Inforoms and put in the Right corner of the window of the Ndsemu.
With this method y can play with the right color ;-)

Some of you have got the same problem?

p.s sorry for mine english

I wish this version had the features of 0.3.5 WIP 1 :(

Well all the sources are avaliable at the author's (NDS) disposal, it's all a matter of whether he chooses/wants or is able to work out how those so called "features" operate.

But to me they are both still the same emulator pretty much, I mean until NDeSmuME makes a significant change, you merely got the same thing with just slightly different changes to the code. ;) (Though I am more or less talking about compatibility rather than features and that)

The biggest problem to me is that there is no "frame skip" fetaure like in WIP 1,so i tried playing Rockman ZX...and it was 6 FPS @_@

poor u,

i am lucky enough to have 2 computers, with really good CPUs (2.08 GHz & 2.80 GHz or something) and depending on the game I generally get anywhere up to 90% of full speed. (90% is my best, I am not saying all games are like that ;))

but yes the frameskip does help though like Normmatt has said it does tend to tear the graphics (especially floating ones like in Super Princess Peach).

Normmatt build crash if using cheats (hasteds) dunno why, ndesmune and needs works fine, anyway about the frame skip, here don't make any difference if i use or not, in rockman zx goes about 30~32fps with/without frame skip, it only jump frames but no change in speed, needs is a bit faster, about 36~40fps sometimes

Yeah, it would also depend on what is being emulated as to how well the frameskip will work. It works better with some than others ;)
