forgive me and my poor English :P
sometimes i like to play some old games, like NFSIII&IV,FIFA99.
i use a gf4mx440 card, and in these games i cant change the resolving power(?i dont know if this is right or not,u know,i mean 800X600,1024X768...).
but i know these games can work on 1024X768 with voodoo&voodoo2,so i download a evoodoo 3.i put GLIDE2X.dll and GLIDE3X.dll into the fifa99 folder ,but it seems that it does not work at all.Anyone knows what should i do?
thanx
this is my first post here, and first time on a English forum :P

Need for Speed III will work fine under Direct3D if you run the Need for Speed III video configuration and select "Direct3D device 1" or similar. When you do that,
the Need for Speed III video configuration utility WILL bitch at you with the message about your 3D accelerator being unsupported, but IGNORE that message if you want to use Direct3D.
The Need for Speed III Direct3D implementation is good with GeForce video cards, with the exception that if your running Windows XP, especially if staying at the menus, for a long time, the following symptom may occur randomly:
The video will freeze, then Windows XP will reboot and display the infinite loop error message.
I was running into a problem where Need for Speed III seemed to be the only game causing Windows XP to have an infinite loop crash.

To change the resolution to 800x600 or higher under Need for Speed III, you're required to go into the game's option selection menus.

Evoodoo is made primarily for N64 emulation so it may not work with FIFA 99. There are a couple more general purpose wrappers out there like dgVoodoo you might try though. You can get it here (http://www.volarigamers.com/viewtopic.php?t=438).

Try this one (http://www.zeckensack.de/glide/) then. If Zeckensack's doesn't work for you then I don't know what else to try. Sorry.
