Hello. The only controllers I have are Dual Analog with a POV hat. Are there any NES and SEGA emulators which support a POV hat as a D-pad? The analog stick is cool, but sometimes I'd like to use an old-style controller (which I don't have). Thank you for your reply.

Usually they support configuring the D-pad. Not always, but usually. :P

sigh...I guess I'm not gonna get help in this area. Well, newer games support the POV hat as an "extra" like the Gamecube D-pad does for games like Smash Bros. and stuff. It doesn't really have a REAL purpose, bu can do a couple things. In some emulators like the latest ZSnes, you can use both the stick and the POV hat as the D-pad, and many emulators like PJ64 allow you to use the POV hat as the D-pad and the stick as the analog. For some reason, many old programs/emulators don't recognise the POV hat as a function, so it just "sits" there and goes to waste, but a buncha things still use it for something.
